SCF Track Cycling Academy
SCF Track Cycling Academy is officially launched on 20th January 2023 and is supported by the Active Citizen Grant – a grant available for athletes to tap on to start their own charity or social pursuit for causes close to their hearts under Team Singapore Cares, a platform for Team Singapore athletes to serve and give back to the community. The SCF Track Cycling Academy was kickstarted by national track cyclist Calvin Sim, who has a passion in promoting cycling to the younger generation and teaching them the techniques to excel in the sport.
This initiative is targeted at Singapore youths cyclists between the ages of 14 and 18 years old (as of 2023), seeks to expose them to track cycling and provide them the opportunity to learn track cycling techniques in a safe environment.
Kids Clinic will also be available for younger children aged 8 to 13 years old (as of 2023), where they will learn the basic bike handling skills.
