Singapore Cycling Federation has finalised the 2019 SCF National Ranking and Points System for both Road and Mountain-Bike with the respective Panels.
ROAD
For Road, the Panel comprises of,
Junhao Toh – Singapore Cycling Federation
Ronnie Yap – Commissaires Commission
Kent Mccallum – SCF Appointed Events Management Company for 2019
Pete Bennett – Anza Cycling
Brian Johnsen – Bike Labz
Alan Hoon – 30Forty Racing Team
Elizabeth Hodges – Women’s Cycling Project
Key updates – Road
Participants in Road events will now be classified under ability based on previous data points gathered.
• Grade A, B, C and D (SCF/UCI License required)
• Grade E (Personal Accident Insurance required).
• Some events may not cater for Grade E.
• The highest-grade Junior B and A cyclists can compete in is Grade C and B respectively
• Women are free to join the same Grade as men.
• Women’s podium and medals will be provided for each grade providing there are at least three women who entered the race.

MOUNTAIN-BIKE
For Mountain-bike, the Panel comprises of,

Key updates – Mountain-bike
Under-23 will be a National Championship only category. U23 will race with Open riders and be accorded SCF points in the Open Category. For series type events, Open Category will start from 19 years old onwards. This is so that U23 riders are eligible for UCI points.
The top five (5) points scorers for each team will be used to calculate the end-of-year team score, regardless of age, category or gender will be summed for each individual event for the Best Team in the 2019 SCF National Ranking and Points Awards Ceremony.
To further align age categories with the Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI), Masters category will now start from 30 years old.
