We had recently discussed with PUB on the “No cycling” signboards installed along the nature space between Rifle Range Road and Dairy Farm. We understand that the intention of these signboards is to ensure the safety of the cyclists as the nature space houses many PUB water fixtures which may pose trip and fall hazards. PUB has informed us that these signboards will be replaced with advisory signboards soon.
To ensure the safety of cyclists, the SCF has also developed a MTB Trail Etiquette and we request everyone to observe it. We would like to acknowledge and thank the Mountain Bike Association (Singapore) and Dirtraction Group Pte Ltd for allowing the SCF to make use of their materials in the development of the MTB Trail Etiquette. In the weeks ahead the SCF will also be developing and publishing educational videos on trail usage and etiquette. Do stay tuned for this.
